Respite

DesertArc’s Respite program offers in-home respite care to provide parents or caregivers relief from the day-to-day demands of caring for a person with developmental disabilities. This service is provided on a one-to-one basis in the client’s home (1:1 ratio). The respite provider follows the routine of the home such as serving dinner, playing games on the computer, etc. Hours are scheduled on a monthly basis by the individual respite provider.
